Reasons to Become a Member

  • Support Amity Athletics (ALL Teams)
    • Awards (championship shirts, subsidize varsity jackets, banners, display cases, etc . )
    • Equipment (timing system [track and x-country], sound system on the football field; portable wireless PA system, dugouts for the baseball field, golf software, softball pitching machine, volleyball net system, scoreboards, blocking sleds, windscreens, batting cages, practice mats, equipment for weight room, walkie-talkie system, video cameras, etc. )
    • Other Supporting Expenses not in the School Budget
    • Scholarships ( four $500 awards to seniors)
    • Block “A” Dinner (June)
      • Honor Athletes and Alumni(Hall of Fame)
  • Member Bonuses
    • Free Admission to Select Games during the School Year (This has included football, girls volleyball, wrestling, boys & girls basketball, and boys ice hockey)
      • Equivalent to season discount tickets and can more than offset the cost of membership
    • Membership Cards Issued
      • Needed for admission to above games and for other possible bonuses
  • Annual Sports Yearbook
    • Compendium of the year (photos and results – now includes complete coverage of spring sports)
    • Mailed to members over the summer
